Let It Snow!

It's a beautiful time here at Topsail Island with all this snow.  I've always had this superstistious belief that we don't have hurricanes in year's that we've had a good snow (I base it on the idea that a good snow is only possible when the ocean temps are lower than usual, the lower the ocean temp gets in the winter should mean that it won't get as warm in the summer and hurricanes do not like low ocean temps).  Thus, I always celebrate a Topsail Island Snow!

First Post

This is the first post for my new blog.  Don't sweat it, I'm only testing it.  I'm pretty happy with the animated header I managed to code and load.  Hopefully it doesn't take to long to load over most internet connections.  It has a few of my favorite pictures in it including Bimini Bahamas, great fishing off of Topsail Island, gag and red grouper, and my beautiful bride Melissa Erickson.
